The Mayor and Aldermen thanked Ms. Massey Mahoney for attending the meeting. C. ID-17-1246 Approve the following requests from Jacob's Ladder Learning Center: 1. Permission to hold a Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run/1-Mile Fun Run and After Party on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m 2. Close Monroe Street from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. to accommodate day-of registration, parking, walk/run/fun run, after party, and clean up 3. Close streets via attached route while runners and walkers are present 4. In addition to original route, close area from Monroe Street to Belmont, Washington, and Crawford for Fun Run starting at 9:00 a.m. while runners and walkers are present 5. Mayor to welcome guests to the city and thank those in the community for support 6. Increased police patrol for the duration of the run/walk/fun run 7.
