On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve Claims Docket. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. Executive Session: Alderman Monsour,Jr., moved the Mayor and Aldermen go into a closed meeting to determine if the Board should go into executive session. The motion was seconded by Alderman Mayfield. Voting aye, Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously adopted. The Mayor and Aldermen discussed whether or not they should go into executive session. Alderman Monsour, Jr., moved to go into executive session to discuss Personnel Action Forms for Longevity in the Right of Way Department (1), Longevity in the Fire Department (1), Pay Adjustment in the Police Department (1), Pay Adjustment in the Fire Department (1), Resignation in the Police Department (1), Suspension in the Right of Way Department (1), Termination in Vehicle Maintenance Department (1), Discussion Matter in the Fire Department (1). The motion was seconded by Alderman Mayfield and upon vote being taken, the following vote aye: Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr. The motion was adopted unanimously. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. C. ID-18-1688 Pay Adjustment - Police Department (1) On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve Pay Adjustment from $16.63 per hour to $15.88 per hour in the Police Department. Officer is no longer serving as a Field Training Officer, effective December 5, 2018. Employee failed to comply with the City of Vicksburg Probationary Policy for New Hire Attendance Guideline for unexcused absences.
