Monsour Jr. Routine Agenda: Mayor Flaggs called the meeting to order. On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to open the meeting. ID-20-1045 Approve Change Order #2 and attachments 1b and 2b for the LED lighting project with Path Attachments: Change Order 2 - City of Vicksburg - 2020-10-13 Attachment 1b - LED Lighting Scope Attachment 2b - LED Lighting Specifications On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Change Order #2 and attachments 1b and 2b for the LED lighting project with Path. ID-20-1046 Approve Change Order #3 with Exhibits C and D for the Depot HVAC Project with Path Attachments: Change Order 3 - City of Vicksburg - 2020-10-13 Exhibit C - Old Depot Museum HVAC Upgrade Drawings Exhibit D - MDAH Construction Document Approval Letter On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Change Order #3 with Exhibits C and D for the Depot HVAC Project with Path. ID-20-1047 Approve Certificate of Substantial Completion for the LED lighting upgrades and the Convention Center HVAC upgrades Attachments: Vicksburg - Substantial Completion On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Certificate of Substantial Completion for the LED lighting upgrades and the Convention Center HVAC upgrades. ID-20-1060 ADOPT RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI (THE “CITY”), AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE FORM OF AND EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO LEASE AND OPTION TO PURCHASE BETWEEN THE CITY AND TRUSTMARK NATIONAL BANK, AND AN AMENDMENT TO ESCROW AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY, TRUSTMARK NATIONAL BANK, AND TRUSTMARK NATIONAL BANK, AS ESCROW AGENT, WHICH FINANCED ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION EQUIPMENT FOR CERTAIN FACILITIES LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE CITY, AND RELATED MATTERS. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. E. ID-20-1059 Authorize Mayor to execute Letter Agreement with Neel-Schaffer to provide professional engineering services for Port of Vicksburg Study Attachments: Neel Schaffer Agreement On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to authorize the Mayor to execute Letter Agreement with Neel-Schaffer to provide professional engineering services for Port of Vicksburg Study. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, and Alderman Monsour Jr. F. ID-20-1061 Authorize Mayor to execute Professional Services Agreement with Stantec for Levee Improvements along and near Haining Road and Long Lake Road Attachments: con_cov_levee_improvements_haining_road_fin On motion of Alderman Monsour, Jr., seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to authorize the Mayor to execute Professional Services Agreement with Stantec for Levee Improvements along and near Haining Road and Long Lake Road.
