ID-21-0144 Pay Adjustment - Ambulance Department (1) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustment of a Firefighter/Ambulance IV from $11.89 per hour to a Firefighter/Ambulance V at $12.36 per hour, effective October 7, 2020 in the Ambulance Department. Employee has met requirements for Tier Pay increase and is assigned to the rescue unit. ID-21-0145 Pay Adjustments - Police Department (3) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustments of a Crime Prevention Specialist from $13.56 ($13.47 + .09) to a Crime Prevention Specialist/Supply Clerk at $14.31 ($13.47 + .09 + .75) per hour, effective December 30, 2020. Employee is taking on additional duties as the Supply Clerk; Patrol Officer/FTO from $18.13 per hour to a Patrol Officer at $17.38 ($18.13 - .75) per hour, effective February 9, 2021. Officer is no longer serving as a Field Training Officer; Police Officer/FTO from $17.43 per hour to a Police Officer at $16.68 ($17.43 - .75) per hour, effective February 9, 2021. Officer is no longer serving as a Field Training Officer in the Police Department. ID-21-0146 Pay Adjustment - Action Line (1) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustment of an IT Information Specialist from $12.17 ($12.00 + .17 long.) per hour to $13.17 ($12.00 + .17 + 1.00) per hour, effective February 10, 2021 in the Action Line. Due to reduction in force, and subsequently an increase in the duties of the Action Line, Alderman Mayfield is recommending an increase of $1.00 an hour to be added to the employee's base pay. ID-21-0147 Retro Pay - Police Department (1) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Retro Pay of a Crime Prevention Specialist of $128.58, effective December 30, 2020 in the Police Department. This retro pay is to pay employee for hours worked from December 30, 2020 through January 26, 2021. Employee was given an additional .75 cents for extra duties and her rate of pay should have been $14.22 + .09 cent longevity = $14.31 but was paid $13.26. She is due .75 cent for every hour that she worked from December 30, 2020 through January 26, 2021. Total regular hours worked were 77.10 x .75 = $57.83, overtime hours 4.20 x $1.13 = $4.75, personal hours 50.93 x .75 = $38.20, sick hours 13.07 x .75 = $9.80, and holiday hours 24.00 x .75 = $18.00. ID-21-0148 Longevity Pay - Fire Department (1) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Longevity Pay of a Firefighter from $15.50 ($15.31 + .19) per hour to $15.56 ($15.31 + .19 + .06) per hour, effective February 18, 2021 in the Fire Department. Employee is entitled to a .06 cent increase due to twenty (20) years of service. ID-21-0149 Suspension - Fire Department (1) On motion of Alderman Mayfield, seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Suspension of a Firefighter III for 1 shift (24 hours), effective shift of February 13-14, 2021 in the Fire Department.
