Recognitions:
A. ID-21-0906 Employee of the 3rd Quarter
Sam Andrews is the Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to Mayor Flaggs and
was selected as the Employee of the 3rd Quarter for September 2021. Mr.
Andrews was recognized by Deborah A. Nickson for serving in an exceptional
manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his work while exhibiting a
positive and supportive attitude. Mr. Andrews has been employed with the City of
Vicksburg for a total of three (3) years.
The Mayor and Aldermen congratulated Sam Andrews for being selected as
Employee of the Quarter.

DONUTS ARE RECKLESS DRIVING ON BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE
STREETS AND PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PARKING LOTS AND TO
PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF

August 25, 2021. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote:

Mayor Flaggs returned to the Board Meeting.
Mayor Pro-Tem Monsour, Jr., is now Alderman Monsour, Jr.
Executive Session:
Mayor Flaggs, Jr., moved the Mayor and Aldermen go into a closed meeting to
determine if the Board should go into executive session. The motion was
seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr. Voting aye, Mayor Flaggs, Alderman
Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr. None voting nay, the motion was unanimously
adopted. The Mayor and Aldermen discussed whether or not they should go into
executive session. Mayor Flaggs, Jr., moved to go into executive session to
discuss Personnel Action Forms for: Human Resource Discussion (1).
The motion was seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., upon vote being taken, the
following voting aye: Mayor Flaggs, Alderman Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, Jr.
The motion was adopted unanimously.
The Mayor and Aldermen announced they would go into executive session to
discuss Personnel Action Forms for: Human Resource Discussion (1).
The Mayor and Aldermen are now in executive session.
