Employee is entitled to an increase of .10 cents per hour for one (1) year of service in the Fire Department. Employee is entitled to an additional .20 cents increase for two (2) years of service in the Human Resource Department. ID-23-0593 Pay Adjustments - Fire Department (3) On motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to approve the Pay Adjustments of a Captain V+1 from $16.66 (base) per hour to a Captain V+2 at $16.92 (base) per hour, effective May 3, 2023. Captain may receive one .26 cents increase per year after completing fifth tier with satisfactory evaluation and physical agility test; a Lieutenant I from $13.32 (base) per hour to a Lieutenant V at $14.57 (base) per hour, effective May 3, 2023. Employee has met requirements for increase in Tier Pay System; a Lieutenant IV from $14.26 (base) per hour, to a Lieutenant V at $14.57 (base) per hour, effective May 3, 2023. Employee has become a Nationally Registered paramedic and is entitled to a pay increase in the Ambulance Department.
