Mayor George Flaggs, Jr., turned the hearing over to Kim Hopkins, Executive Director of Main Street. Mrs. Hopkins announced that every year the Main Street Board have to renew the taxing district about this time. No one came in opposition to establishing the Special Assessment on Commercial Real Property in the Downtown Taxing District. PUBLIC HEARING: Upon completion of the testimony, on motion of Mayor Flaggs, Jr., seconded by Alderman Monsour, Jr., the Mayor and Aldermen voted to close the Public Hearing of the Downtown Taxing District.
