ID-25-0821 Pay Adjustment - Police (1) On motion of Alderwoman Bailey, seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to Approve the Pay Adjustment for the Police Officer position at $23.78 per hour to the Field Training Officer position at $24.53 per hour ($23.78 + $0.75), effective July 23, 2025. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Thompson, Alderwoman Bailey, and Alderman Mayfield B. ID-25-0822 Longevity Pay - Ambulance (1) On motion of Alderwoman Bailey, seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to Approve the Longevity Pay of an Emergency Medical Paramedic by changing the hourly rate from $12.63 to $12.73 (12.63 + .10), City of Vicksburg Page 6 Printed on 8/18/2025 Board of Mayor and Aldermen Minutes - Final August 4, 2025 effective August 7, 2025. The employee is entitled to an additional $.10 per hour increase for one (1) year of service. ID-25-0823 Termination - Administration (Summer) (23) On motion of Alderwoman Bailey, seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to Approve the Termination of Twenty Three (23) Student Workers, effective July 29, 2025. These students work on a seasonal basis throughout the summer. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Thompson, Alderwoman Bailey, and Alderman Mayfield D. ID-25-0824 Termination - Administration (1) On motion of Alderwoman Bailey, seconded by Alderman Mayfield, the Mayor and Aldermen voted to Approve the Termination of Ms. Reynolds, effective August 4, 2025. The employee was terminated following a request for an additional three months of leave that was denied on July 18, 2025, by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The motion was adopted unanimously by the following vote: Aye: 3- Mayor Thompson, Alderwoman Bailey, and Alderman Mayfield E.
