This adjustment is to bring the employee to the heretofore approved rate; Approve the Pay Adjustment for a Police Officer from a current rate of $21.28/hour to a new rate of $24.4394/hour, effective November 12, 2025. This action is to bring Vicksburg Police Officers pay to a more competitive pay with the surrounding jurisdictions. Officers will no longer receive longevity pay; Approve the Pay Adjustment for a Sergeant from a current rate of $23.04/hour to a new rate of $25.5605/hour, effective November 12, 2025. This action is to bring Vicksburg Police Officers pay to a more competitive pay with the surrounding jurisdictions. The employee is being suspended for three (3) days, effective December 15, 2026; Approve the Suspension of an Officer due the violation of Policy 2.14, Rules of Conduct-Section One, Number 4, Insubordination.
