BAR- Work Session BOARD OF ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW April 13, 2022 Draft Work Session Minutes The Board of Architectural Review met for a work session for The Maple Room Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Vienna Town Hall at 127 Center St S. Present in town hall were Chairman Mr. Roy Baldwin, Vice-Chair Mr. Michael Cheselka, Ms. Patty Hanley, Mr. Paul Layer, Ms. Linda van Doorn, Planner Sharmaine Abaied and Board Clerk Yaska Camacho Castillo. Roll Call: Mr. Christo Sarantis- Owner – Business address: 21441 Pacific Boulevard Sterling, VA Mr. John Gaston - Civil Engineer – Business address: 21441 Pacific Boulevard Sterling, VA Mr. Sarantis stated the following changes since last work session: - Changed standing seam color from black to charcoal grey (for the roof) - Lowered the tower - Removed the front windows/ added side windows on top of the doors - The Maple Room sign along the front - Logo for menu - Monument sign will be brown - Power washed the stones - Color Grey for base of the tower - Fountain will no longer be part of the application Mr. Gaston briefly explained ramp and lighting. He stated they chose Jason residential light fixtures 10 ft high 3,000 kelvins to replace the ones that are currently there. As for the ramp he researched and couldn’t find anything on the 50% requirement.
