VPAC21-030 Resolution continuity of government
Ms. Biles read the Continuity of Government Resolution. All agreed via voice vote.

VPAC21-031 Welcome and Roll Call
Roll Call: Midge Biles, Mike Cheselka, Holly Aglio, Bill Comerford, Kathy Georgen,
Belle Gambino, Kathy Blevins-VPAC Clerk
2. Approval of the Minutes:

3. Regular Business
VPAC21-023 Vienna Public Art Foundation Update
• Ms. Aglio deposited the check from the Town VPAC account into the new VPA
Foundation account at NWFCU.
• The Articles of Incorporation are still not done. A report is required with a $25 fee.
Ms. Aglio made a motion to be request the $25 fee be taken out of the VPA
Foundation. Mr. Comerford seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
• The May 24 Council session with the VPA members and Leslie Herman determined it
was not necessary to have Council appoint 2 VPA members to the Foundation. Ms.
Biles will ask someone she knows if they would like to serve on the foundation. Ms.
Aglio will write up an article for August issue of The Voice to recruit members and
submit to the Town PIO by July 10.
• Update on the Community Arts Grant- a decision by June 16-17 and will notify Ms.
Blevins.
VPAC21-032 Green Hearts Juice Mural update
• Ms. Biles will ask them to come to the July 20 VPAC meeting to share their idea for
the mural (rustic hearts in boxes tumbling down the side of the building).
• The community can purchase a box that an artist will paint. Money raised will go
towards Rustic Love.
• Ms. Biles will assist Green Hearts in submitting an application to the BAR for

approval. Then a work session will be scheduled with the BAR.
VPAC21-029 Harmony Park Fund Raising
• Ms. Biles mentioned a fund raising event idea to hold a Sip & Paint-with wine
• Ms. Aglio will check into a 20k-30k grant.
3. New Business
Patrick Henry Library mural- library staff is on board with having a mural painted
on the side of the building before it is demolished in 2-3yrs. Ms. Georgen made the
suggestion to use the Liberty Amendments logo. Ms. Biles and Mr. Chesleka will
work on the call for artists to advertise in The Voice. Insurance?
4. Meeting Adjournment
Mr. Chesleka made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Mr.
Comerford. The motion passed unanimously.
