The Council asks that you keep your comments concise and positive. Creative criticism, presented with appropriate courtesy, is welcome. Each speaker will be allowed three minutes and a timer will notify you when your time is expired. Please begin your comments by stating and spelling your name and providing your city of residence. CONTINUED SESSION - See file ID 21-0685 on 1/18/2022 Council agenda. Consider the extension of Ordinance No. 2021-10, an interim 21-0685 zoning ordinance adopted as an urgency measure to regulate the location of smoke shops and tobacco shops, Citywide. (4/5’s approval of the Council required for passage.) Paul Bernal, Community Development Director provided the staff recommendation of Ordinance 2021-10, interim ordinance adopted measures to regulate the location of smoke shops. Staff will return to Council in March for adoption of the regulation. A motion was made by Council Member Liz Wynn, seconded by Council Member Greg Collins, to approve as recommended.
