March 31, 2020
Mayor Rumbold called the regular meeting of the Village of Walden Board of Trustees to order at
2:00pm.
On roll call the following were:
Present: Mayor Sue Rumbold
Trustees Lynn E. Thompson
John Ramos
Brian Sebring
Dan Svarczkopf
Faith Moore
Larry Kraus
Absent:
Also Present: John Revella, Village Manager
Marisa Kraus, Village Clerk
Kelly A. Kelly, Village Treasurer
David A. Donovan, Village Attorney
Action Items
Bid Opening for Waste Disposal
Manager Revella: Interstate Waste submitted their bid. $19.19 per household. $4.95 per yard.
17.5% increase. A guarantee for 3 years. Attorney Donovan will look at it to make sure it’s
compliant and can award at the next meeting.
Clerk Kraus presented the tentative 2020-2021 Village of Walden Budget.
Payment of Audited Bills
Deputy Mayor Moore made a motion to pay Audited Bills. Seconded by Trustee Thompson. All
ayes. Motion carried.

NOTICE
OF
SPECIAL MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a special meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Walden
will be held on the 31st day of March, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as can be heard at
the Village Hall, One Municipal Square, Walden, NY 12586 for the purpose of presenting the
fiscal year June 1, 2020-May 31, 2021 Tentative Budget to the Village Board of Trustees as well
as taking such other further action as may be deemed appropriate and necessary by the Village
Board.
In accordance with the applicable Executive Orders heretofore issued by New York State
Governor Andrew Cuomo suspending certain provisions of the New York State Open Meetings
Law, physical attendance by the public at the hearing will not be permitted. The public may view
the Meeting live using the following link: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/7978082963 and using
meeting ID: # 797-808-2963. As permitted by Section 104 of the Public Officers Law, the
Mayor and individual board members may participate from remote locations. Consistent with
the aforementioned Executive Orders, physical attendance at said remote locations shall not be
permitted.
