A storm water system is part of this project. Mr. Vander Valk referenced Boswell Engineering’s
report and that they take no exception to any of the items in it. The Applicant will comply with
all items in the report. Mr. McGinnis questioned the landscaping.
The removal of trees has been approved. Mr. Mysliwiec noted that the trees on the lot were
removed prior to the tree ordinance and so there are only 4 trees that need to be replaced.
Mr. Vander Valk noted that all water will remain on site and run off will be collected from the
roof area and driveway area in a catch basin on the side of the wall. The topography drains from
northeast to southwest. The water comes from up hill.
Mr. Fink questioned the width between the retaining wall and the property line and it was noted
it is 4 ft from the property line.
Judy Verrone 5 Longview Court appeared before the Board. She questioned drainage issues and
the drainage system that is to take care of it. She questioned if the property owner will remedy
any run off that occurs after the system is in. Ms. Verrone questioned the soil moving permit
application for 6 Birch Lane and whether she had received notice.
Chirag Baliwali, 10 Birch Lane, appeared before the Board. He noted that he would be happy to
share the plans with neighbors and will be sure to properly do something with the small wall and
plantings for any water runoff. He will share his contact info with neighbors if they would like
