Zoning Board Meeting

WALDWICK ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FORMAL SESSION January 24, 2024 The Formal Session of the Waldwick Zoning Board of Adjustment was held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. and was called to order by John D’Anton, Board Attorney, who made the announcement of adequate notice of all meetings. ROLL CALL: Mr. Mones present Mr. Nieman present Mr. Walsh present Ms. Luppino present Mr. Wekarski present Mr. Gurian present Ms. Centineo present Mr. Sanzo present Mr. Cericola present Also Present: John D’Anton, Board Attorney Joyce Sinclair, Board Secretary REORGANIZATION: John D’Anton, Esq., proceeded with the Reorganization portion of the meeting. Reappointed members were sworn in. Nominations were accepted for Chairman of the Zoning Board. A nomination was made for Jesus Mones as Chairman by Mr. Sanzo and seconded by Mr. Cericola. A unanimous vote was taken. Mr. Mones took over as Chairman and continued with the reorganization portion of the meeting. Nomination was made for Mr. Walsh as Vice Chairman by Mr. Gurian and seconded by Ms. Sanzo. A unanimous vote was taken. The appointments of John D’Anton, Esq. as Board Attorney, Boswell Engineering as Board Engineer, Phillips Preiss and Grygiel as Board Planner and Joyce Sinclair as Board Secretary were made. GREETINGS TO THE PUBLIC: No one appeared. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The Minutes of December 13, 2023 were tabled for approval at the January meeting. 1 APPLICATIONS: None RESOLUTIONS: JP MORGAN CHASE BANK 53 Franklin Turnpike 23-N Block 17, Lot 61.01 Greg Meese, Esq. Major Site Plan, Use Variance, Soil Movement RESOLUTION A motion was made for the approval of the Resolution by Mr. Walsh and seconded by Mr. Cericola. A vote was taken. Ms. Luppino abstained. The Resolution was approved. NEW BUSINESS: -A motion was made by Mr. Sanzo and seconded by Mr. Walsh to adopt the Schedule of Meetings for 2024.
