Fire Department Discussion Adjournment Page 1 of 3  PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES COMMISSION CONFERENCE ROOM MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2024 5:00 PM Call Meeting to Order - Record Attendance Committee Members: Mayor Carey (Chair), Jessica Babcock, and Steven Gilbert Staff Present: Darrel Schmalzel, Frank Wash, and Shannon Bales Discussion Items Approval of Minutes from September 25, 2023 Motion by Jessica Babcock, seconded by Steven Gilbert to approve the meeting minutes from September 25, 2023. Motion Carried. Mobile Device Policy Review & Consideration of Approval HR Director, Shannon Bales, explained the need for a Mobile Device Policy stating that there is currently no specific policy for city issued mobile devices. S. Bales said that a group of city staff from IT, HR and Management have worked to create the policy and procedures. Discussion was held. Motion by Steven Gilbert, seconded by Jessica Babcock to approve the Mobile Device Policy. Motion Carried. Elected Officials Handbook Annual Review 1st Draft Discussion Mayor Carey said that an annual review of the Elected Officials Handbook will take place moving forward. He asked the committee to provide feedback to S. Bales by Monday, October 14th. Final review of the handbook will take place Monday, October 28th. Discussion was held. Chiefs & City Manager Annual Performance Evaluation update Chiefs and City Manager performance review discussion was held.
