AUTHORIZATION TO PAY BILLS AS PER APPROVED WARRANTS
REGULAR SESSION:
RESOLUTION NO. 322020 of 2020
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION FOR THE VILLAGE OF WAPPINGERS
FALLS TO APPLY FOR A JUSTICE COURT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (JCAP)
GRANT
The following Resolution was introduced by __________________________ and
seconded by _________________________.
WHEREAS, the Village of Wappingers Falls Justice Court is eligible for a grant
from the State of New York Unified Court System through the Justice Court Assistance
Program; and
WHEREAS, Village of Wappingers falls Justices, Raymond C. Chase, Jr. and
Susan Sullivan Bisceglia, and Justice Court Clerk, Donna Contelmo, have recommended
an application for such grant be made; and
WHEREAS, Village Justices, Raymond C. Chase, Jr. and Susan Sullivan
Bisceglia, and Justice Court Clerk, Donna Contelmo have prepared an application to the
Justice Court Assistance Program Grant; and
WHEREAS, the application is required to be submitted to the New York State
Office of Court Administration by October ____, 2020; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of
Wappingers Falls hereby authorizes the Village of Wappingers Falls Justice Court to

apply for a JCAP Grant in the 2020-2021 grant cycle up to $30,000.00, or the exact
amount being requested: and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Board hereby authorizes said
application to be signed by Mayor Matt Alexander as well as Village Justices Raymond
C. Chase, Jr. and Susan Sullivan Bisceglia, by and on behalf of the Village of
Wappingers Falls Justice Court, and further authorizes Justice Court Clerk, Donna
Contelmo, to submit the application to the New York State Office of Court
Administration to comply with the October ____, 2020 submission date.
