Finance Committee Meeting Minutes
September 25, 2023
Village Hall, 123 N River St.
Chair Jaskie called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm.
Present: Chair Adam Jaskie, Don Houston, Andy Ewert
Also present: Zeke Jackson, Michelle Vandehey, Rick Huening
Minutes: Don Houston motioned to approve the 9/11/23 Finance Committee Minutes, second by
Andy Ewert. All aye. Motion carried.
New Business:
Jackson briefed the Committee on the Draft Budget Sections for Water and Sewer. Andy Ewert
motioned to recommend approval of the Draft Budget Sections. Second by Don Houston. All
aye.
Motion carried.
Ewert motioned to recommend approval of an amendment to the 2023 budget for canon repairs
in the amount of $15,000. (This was part of the $35,000 that was approved for 2024) Second by
Adam Jaskie. All aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Don Houston to adjourn at 5:35pm, second by Andy Ewert. All aye. Motion carried.

12 Minutes: McReynolds motioned to approve the 8/14/23 Finance Committee Minutes, second by Ewert.
13 All aye. Motion carried.

15 New Business:

17 Kevin Mullen gave a brief overview of the Village of Waterford Hypothetical Financing Plans for both 15
18 years and 20 years, showing what amount of capital projects could potentially be financed. More review
19 was necessary so no motion was made at this time.

21 Jackson briefed the Committee on the TID sections. Ewert motioned to recommend approval of the
22 TID sections with an amendment to TID 3 to include an additional 35K for the Cannon Project. Second
23 by Lauer. All aye. Motion carried.

25 Motion by Houston to adjourn at 5:54 pm, second by Ewert. All aye. Motion carried.
