Village of Waterford Fire Commission
July 14th , 2020 Minutes
Present: Janice Piper, Jennifer Denton, James Zuehlke, Robert Mueller
Also present: Chief Rick Mueller, Colleen Schauer
Zuehlke called the meeting to order at 5:31pm.
Reading and Approval of Minutes: Motion by Piper to approve the July 14th, 2020 minutes.
Second by Mueller. All aye. Motion carried.
New Business:
Discussion was had on the Fire Commission training that is happening in November. New
commission handbooks will be available to pick up at the Fire Station.
Review and act on applications for positions with the department.
Motion to adjourn into closed session by Thiede for the purposes of considering Fire & EMS
staff
hiring and other business at 5:07 pm, second by Piper. All aye. Motion carried.
Roll call vote: Thiede - aye; Denton – aye; Piper – aye; Zuehlke – aye; Mueller – aye. Motion
carried.
Piper motioned to reconvene into open session at 5:44 pm; second by Denton. All aye. Motion
carried.
Mueller motioned to add Klodinski to the eligibility list; second by Piper. All aye. Motioned
carried.
Chief Mueller indicated it is his intent to hire Klodinsk. Piper motioned to accept Chief Mueller’s
intent to hire Klodinsk. Second by Thiede. All aye, Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn at 5:47 pm by Mueller; second by Piper. Motion carried.
