Village of Waterford Fire Commission May 11 th, 2021 Minutes Present: Janice Piper, Jennifer Denton, Ken Thiede Excused: James Zuehlke Also present: Chief Rick Mueller, Colleen Schauer Piper called the meeting to order at 5:02 pm. Reading and Approval of Minutes: Motion by Thiede to approve the March 9th, 2021 minutes. Second by Denton. All aye. Motion carried. New Business: Review and act on applications for positions with the department. Motion to adjourn into closed session by Denton for the purposes of considering Fire & EMS staff hiring and other business at 5:05 pm, second by Thiede. All aye. Motion carried. Roll call vote: Thiede - aye; Denton – aye; Piper – aye. Motion carried. Thiede motioned to reconvene into open session at 5:37 pm; second by Denton. All aye. Motion carried. Denton motioned to add Agg, Handeland and Wolf to the eligibility list; second by Thiede. All aye. Motioned carried. Chief Mueller indicated it is his intent to hire Agg, Handeland and Wolf. Denton motioned to accept Chief Mueller’s intent to hire Agg, Handeland and Wolf. Second by Thiede. All aye, Motion carried. Motion to adjourn at 5:49 pm Denton; second by Theide. Motion carried.
