Village of Waterford Fire Commission January 11 th, 2022 Minutes Present: Janice Piper, Ken Thiede, Jennifer Denton, Bonnie Schauer Excused: James Zuehlke Also present: Chief Rick Mueller, Colleen Schauer Piper called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. Motion by Denton to approve the 11-16-2021 Fire Commission Minutes. Second by Thiede. All aye. Motion carried New Business: Motion to adjourn into closed session by Thiede for the purposes of considering Fire & EMS staff hiring and other business at 5:02 pm, second by Denton. All aye. Motion carried. Roll call vote: Thiede - aye; Piper – aye, Schauer - aye. Denton – yes. Motion carried. Denton motioned to reconvene into open session at 5:41 pm; second by Thiede. All aye. Motion carried. Motion by Thiede to add Capodarco Jr and O’Leary Knudsen to the eligibility list; second by Denton. All aye. Motioned carried. Chief Mueller indicated it is his intent to hire Capodarco Jr and O’Leary Knudsen. Thiede motioned to accept Chief Mueller’s intent to hire Capodarco Jr and O’Leary Knudsen. Second by Denton.
