Village of Waterford Fire Commission February 15 th, 2022 Minutes Present: Janice Piper, Ken Thiede, Jennifer Denton, Bonnie Schauer, James Zuehlke Also present: Chief Rick Mueller, Colleen Schauer Zuehlke called the meeting to order at 5:35 pm. Motion by Thiede to approve the 02-09-2022 Fire Commission Minutes. Second by Denton. All aye. Motion carried. New Business: Motion to adjourn into closed session by Denton for the purposes of considering Fire & EMS staff hiring and other business at 5:36 pm, second by Schauer. All aye. Motion carried. Roll call vote: Thiede - aye; Piper – aye, Schauer - aye. Denton – yes. Motion carried. Schauer motioned to reconvene into open session at 5:47 pm; second by Denton. All aye. Motion carried. Chief Mueller indicated it is his intent to hire Nebojsa Malic to full time positions within the department. Schauer motioned to accept Chief Mueller’s intent to hire Malic full-time as a new employee. Second by Denton. All aye, Motion carried. Motion by Thiede to adjourn at 5:48 pm; second by Schauer.
