VILLAGE OF WATERFORD Public Works & Utilities Committee Meeting Minutes September 21st, 2020 Chair Baker called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. Present: Mike Baker, Don Houston, Fred Koeller, Pat Goldammer, Carl Oberhart Also present: Rick Huening, Colleen Schauer, Zeke Jackson, Alysa Robbins Minutes: Motion by Houston to approve the 8-17-2020 minutes. Second by Koeller. All aye. Motion carried. New Business: Johns: Motion by Houston to approve the 2021 Garbage and Recycling fees for John’s Disposal. Second by Koeller. All aye. Motion carried. Yard Waste: Motion by Koeller to increase the Garbage Disposal fee by $3.85 per year on the tax roll to cover the cost of the Village Yard Waste Disposal site and make available for all Village residents. Second by Goldammer. All aye. Motion carried. CORP: Motion by Koeller to approve the final draft of the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan with noted changes. Second by Houston. All aye. Motion carried. Christmas Lights: Motion by Goldammer to approve the ground lighting display for 10 Club Park, and to look into ordering a storage unit for up to $3,000 to keep at DPW. Second by Houston. All aye. Motion carried. CMAR: Motion by Houston to approve the 2019 annual Compliance Maintenance Report. Second by Goldammer. All aye. Motion carried. Plow: Motion by Houston to approve replacing snow plow blade and cutting edge based upon staff recommendation not to exceed $7,000. Second by Koeller. All aye. Motion carried. Motion by Koeller to revisit Christmas Lights discussion. Second by Houston. All aye. Motion carried. Motion by Koeller to reclose. Second by Oberhart. All aye. Motion carried. Boat Launch: Motion by Koeller to approve boat launch fees at $10 a with the option of an annual fee of $25 for residents and $100 for non-resident. Second by Goldammer. All aye. Motion carried. Koeller motion to adjourn into closed session at 5:00 pm. Second by Oberhart. Roll call vote: Koeller – aye; Baker – aye; Oberhart – aye; Houston – aye; Goldammer – aye. Motion carried. Motion by Goldammer to reconviene into open session 5:43 pm. Second by Koeller. All aye. Motion carried. Motion by Houston to adjourn at 5:44 pm pm. Second by Goldammer. All aye. Motion carried.
