Call To Order And Roll Call Acting Mayor Adam Pawelk called the Watertown City Council workshop to order at 5:31 p.m. on Tuesday March 23, 2021 in the council chambers of City Hall. Council Members Present: Pawelk and Dan Schuette Staff Present: City Administrator Shane Fineran, Administrative Services Director Lynn Tschudi. Guests: Caydin Wolter and Brad Falteysek from Abdo Eick & Meyers, LLP 2. New Business 2.I. 2020 Draft Audit Joining the council via Zoom is Caydin Wolter and Brad Falteysek from Abdo Eick & Meyers, LLP. Falteysek presented the audit results for 2020. He explained there was one internal control finding on the 2020 audit for preparation of financial statements which is common for cities the size of Watertown. The General Fund and Enterprise Funds exceeded the budgeted amounts for revenue. Falteysek reviewed cash balances and debt service for the past three years. He also compared important ratios for Watertown to cities in Carver County and other class 4 cities. Expenditures per capita increased for 2020 due to the CARES Act funds that were required to be spent by November 15, 2020.
