CODE ENFORCEMENT - CITATION HEARING MINUTES Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 9:30 AM Historic City Hall, Commission Chambers – 225 East Main Street, Suite 105 www.cityofwauchula.gov CALL TO ORDER Hearing was called to order by Magistrate Mitchell @ 9am as he asked an Officer to check the hallway to confirm no one was waiting or walking in. ADMINISTER OATH NEW CASES 1. Leterika Faniel Violation # BL 1116WU6YCP Leterika Faniel, petitioner did not appear and was not joined via Zoom for this hearing Lt. Robert Ehrenkaufer of City of Wauchula Police Department presented evidence and information to the Magistrate. Enrenkaufer stated the Petitioner requested the hearing, and provided evidence with visiable pictures of the vehicle and tag number. He stated he's reviewed video and still images to ensure the tag information was researched correctly. The owner of the vehicle was verified as Leterika Faniel. Enrenkaufer stated Petitioner did not notify the police department prior to hearing to cancel. There is no other testimony from any third party. Magistrate Mitchell ordered a Notice of Violation with a fine of $100.00 plus admin fee of $100.00, for violating statutes as listed and excessive speed PUBLIC COMMENT / NON-AGENDA ITEMS No Public Comments or Non-Agenda Items ADJOURNMENT Magistrate Mitchell adjourned hearing at 9:36am
