VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (CDA) MEETING 500 West Main Street November 12, 2025 6:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order by Chair Runge at 6:01pm. ROLL CALL Present: Jack Heinemann, David Kennedy, Todd Micholic, Al Dassow, Katherine Burk, Kristin Runge, Abigail Zellner Also Present: Kylie West, Lauren Freeman MINUTES 1 Approve Minutes from the October 23, 2025 Community Development Authority Meeting Motion to approve minutes with few minor corrections by Micholic. Seconded by Zellner. Motion carried 6-0. Dassow abstained. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no public comments. BUSINESS ITEMS 1 Discuss Housing & Employment Data in Waunakee The committee discussed Waunakee housing and income data. No action was taken. 2 Discuss CDA Mission Statement The committee discussed the mission of the CDA and what population the committee would like to target for affordable housing projects and initiatives. No action was taken. ADJOURN Motion to adjourn by Heinemann. Seconded by Micholic. Motion carried 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:30pm. Madison Street AGENDA CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL MINUTES 1 Approve Minutes from the October 23, 2025 Community Development Authority Meeting PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1 Discuss Housing & Employment Data in Waunakee 2 Discuss CDA Mission Statement ADJOURN Any person who has a qualifying disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act that requires the meeting or materials at the meeting to be in an accessible location or format should contact the municipal clerk at (608) 850-8500, 500 West Main Street, Waunakee, Wisconsin, at least twenty-four hours prior to the commencement of the meeting so that any necessary arrangements can be made to accommodate each request. PUBLIC COMMENT INSTRUCTIONS WRITTEN: Send written comments by 12:00 p.m. on date of meeting on any matter, either on or not on the agenda, by emailing kwest@waunakee.com or in writing to Community Development Authority, 500 W Main St., Waunakee, WI, 53597. IN-PERSON: Public comment forms are available at the Board Room entrance. Please fill out and hand to staff prior to start of meeting. Comments are limited to three-minutes per person and must be delivered at the gallery podium for recording purposes. Accommodations can be provided for those unable to access the podium. **As permitted by the Wisconsin open meetings law and while not required, the Community Development Authority has chosen to allow public comments during their meetings. This is specifically listed on the agenda as PUBLIC COMMENT. The CDA Members may not engage in discussion or take action during this period but may consider deferring the subject to a later meeting with notice. State statute and/or Village Code require PUBLIC HEARINGS on certain specified matters where the public can comment. The meeting chairperson will identify rules for providing comments. Other items on the agenda which are not listed for public hearing do not require the Community Development Authority to allow public comment, however the meeting chairperson can at their own discretion allow limited public comments. VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE BOARD MEETING Notice is hereby given that the Village Board may attend this meeting. No action will be taken by the Village Board at this meeting. Next scheduled meeting is December 11, 2025 6:00 PM.
