VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE CREATE WAUNAKEE COMMITTEE MEETING Zoom Webinar December 10, 2020 6:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER Erin Moran called the meeting to order at 6:03 PM ROLL CALL Present: Erin Moran, Katie Lowery, Natasha Lutes, Matt Abrahamson, Jess Pagel, Joel Lewis, Silvia Guerin (arrived after minute approval) Absent: Melanie Trainor-Burton, Sean Reimer Also Present: Todd Schmidt, Gay Strandemo, Jeff Skoug, Kylie West, Kristina Coopman MINUTES 1 Approve Minutes From November 12, 2020 Meeting Motion by Katie Lowery, second by Matt Abrahamson, to approve the minutes from the November 12, 2020 Create Waunakee Committee meeting. Motion Passed. For: 6, Against: 0, Absent: 3 PUBLIC COMMENT There was no public comment. PRESENTATIONS 1 Presentation by Kristina Coopman RE River Arts Community Arts Center Presentation given to the group regarding the various River Arts Community Art spaces and their operations. Discussion only; no action taken. NEW BUSINESS 1 Work Group Updates Discussion only, no action taken. 2 Discuss Requests for Resources or Assistance from Work Groups Discussion was had. Request was made for committee members to help promote different events and happenings by sharing across various social media platforms and actively participating on posts. 3 Open Discussion on New Committee Priorities and Projects Discussion only, no action taken. New ideas include:  Weekly Community Member Profiles  Research spaces/businesses in Waunakee willing to display local artist’s work  Cosplay Zoom event for kids 8+  Volunteer Certificates to be given to Waunakee is Home volunteer students ADJOURN Motion by Natasha Lutes, second by Jess Pagel, to adjourn at 7:05 PM.
