VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING 500 West Main Street July 15, 2019 5:30 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER Acting Chairperson Chris Zellner called the meeting to order at 5:35 P.M. ROLL CALL Members present: Chris Zellner, Gary Herzberg, and Renee Meinholz Also present: Todd Schmidt, Phil Willems, Joe Zitzelsberger, Erin Moran, Sue McDade, Jon Trautman, Dave Minch, Nila Frye, Jerome Gilles CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. 1 Consider approval of minutes - April 15, 2019 Motion by Gary Herzberg to approve the consent agenda, seconded by Chris Zellner. Motion Pass. 2 - Gary Herzberg, Chris Zellner, Against: 0. PUBLIC COMMENT None PRESENTATIONS 1 CliftonLarsonAllen LLP Audit Report Presentation Dave Minch and Jon Trautman from Clifton Larsen Allen LLP presented the 2018 audit report and Management Communications document. Dave highlighted the auditors' opinion, the results of the general fund, and the communications with those charged with governance. Motion by Chris Zellner to accept the 2018 Annual Financial Report and Management Communications document, seconded by Gary Herzberg. Motion pass. For: 2 - Gary Herzberg, Chris Zellner, Against: 0. NEW BUSINESS 1 Discuss preliminary 2020 budget process and calendar Finance Director went over a draft 2020 budget calendar. Brief discussion ensued but Finance Committee made no changes. Motion by Gary Herzberg to recommend 2020 budget calendar to Village Board, seconded by Chris Zellner. Motion Pass: For: 2 - Gary Herzberg, Chris Zellner. Against: 0. ADJOURN Motion by Chris Zellner to adjourn at 5:50 P.M., seconded by Gary Herzberg. Motion pass. For: 2 - Gary Herzberg, Chris Zellner, Against: 0.
