VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING 500 West Main Street July 19, 2021 5:15 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER Chairman Phil Willems called the meeting to order at 5:20 P.M. ROLL CALL Members present: Phil Willems, Chris Zellner, Nila Frye, and Renee Meinholz Also present: Todd Schmidt, Gabe Altenbernd, and Jon Trautman CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. 1 Consider approval of minutes - April 5, 2021 Motion by Chris Zellner to approve the consent agenda (approval of minutes - April 5, 2021), seconded by Nila Frye. Motion Pass. For: 3 - Phil Willems, Chris Zellner, Nila Frye. Against: 0. PUBLIC COMMENT None PRESENTATIONS 1 CliftonLarsonAllen LLP Audit Report Presentation Jon Trautman of CliftonLarsonAllen LLP presented the 12/31/20 financial statements. Jon highlighted the auditors' opinion, the results of the general fund, and touched briefly on the other funds and the utilities. Motion by Chris Zellner, seconded by Nila Frye to accept the 2020 Financial Statements and Governance Communication. Motion Pass. For: 3 - Phil Willems, Chris Zellner, Nila Frye. Against: 0. NEW BUSINESS 1 Discuss and take action on preliminary 2022 budget process and calendar The Finance Director went over the draft 2022 budget calendar. Motion by Nila Frye to approve the budget calendar as presented, seconded by Chris Zellner. Motion Pass: For: 3 - Phil Willems, Chris Zellner, Nila Frye. Against: 0. ADJOURN Motion by Chris Zellner to adjourn, seconded by Nila Frye. Motion Pass. For: 3 - Phil Willems, Chris Zellner, Nila Frye. Against: 0.
