VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING 500 West Main Street October 18, 2021 5:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER Chairman Phil Willems called the meeting to order at 5:02 P.M. ROLL CALL Members present: Phil Willems, Nila Frye, Chris Zellner, and Renee Meinholz Also present: Todd Schmidt, Gabe Altenbernd, Gary Herzberg CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. 1 Consider approval of minutes - August 16, 2021 Motion by Nila Frye to approve the consent agenda (approval of minutes - August 16, 2021), seconded by Chris Zellner. PUBLIC COMMENT None NEW BUSINESS 1 Discuss and Take Action on Village of Waunakee Budget Policies The Finance Director presented the Village of Waunakee budget policies. There are no recommended changes from the prior year policies. Motion by Chris Zellner to approve the Village's budget financial policies, seconded by Nila Frye. Motion Pass. For: 3 - Phil Willems, Chris Zellner, Nila Frye, Against: 0. 2 Overview of Proposed 2022 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget The Finance Director reviewed a few of the slides in the 2022 Budget presentation that will be presented at the full Village Board meeting immediately following the Finance Committee meeting. Some brief discussion ensued but no action was required to be taken. ADJOURN Motion by Chris Zellner to adjourn at 5:45 P.M., seconded by Nila Frye. Motion Pass.
