Meeting Minutes
CALL TO ORDER
The August 8, 2023 Joint Review Board meeting was called to order by Village Clerk Karla
Endres at 5:37 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Kristin Runge (Village of Waunakee), Laurie Grigg (Madison College), Adam
Gallagher (Dane County), Jack Heinemann (Waunakee Community School District)
Also Present: Todd Schmidt, Karla Endres, Renee Meinholz, Tim Semmann, Lisa Trebatoski
and Todd Taves.
APPOINTMENTS
Public Member
Motion by Jack Heinemann, second by Kristin Runge, to appoint Jim Elvekrog as the
Joint Review Board Public Member. Motion carried, 3-0 (Gallagher absent).
Chairperson
Motion by Jack Heinemann, second by Laurie Grigg, to nominate Jack Heinemann as
Joint Review Board Chairperson. Motion carried, 5-0.
BUSINESS ITEMS
1 Review Responsibilities of the Joint Review Board
Todd Taves, financial consultant for the Village, reviewed the responsibilities of the
Joint Review Board and provided organizational information.
No action taken.
2 Review and Discuss Amendment to the Project Plan and Boundaries of Tax
Incremental District No. 9
Todd Taves provided a brief explanation for the amendment and the effect the
proposed project would have on the TID.
3 Discuss and Determine Next Meeting Date to Consider Approval of Amendment
to the Project Plan and Boundaries of Tax Incremental District No. 9
The next meeting was tentatively scheduled for September 21, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.
ADJOURN
Motion by Kristin Runge, second by Jim Elvekrog, to adjourn at 6:01 p.m. Motion carried, 5-0.
