VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE Parks and Recreation Committee September 4, 2019 The September 4, 2019 Parks and Recreation Committee meeting was called to order by Phil Willems at 5:34 pm. PRESENT: Phil Willems, Chris Zellner, Gary Herzberg, John Pomeranke, Susan Brown, and Bob Khouri. ALSO PRESENT: Sue McDade - Community Services Director, Bill Frederick - Public Works/Parks Superintendent, and Jeff Skoug – Recreation Program Supervisor. MINUTES A motion by Gary Herzberg / Bob Khouri to approve the minutes of the August 7, 2019 Park and Recreation Committee meeting was approved. NEW BUSINESS 1. Consider Urban Forestry Grant Application and Authorizing Resolution A motion by Bob Khouri / John Pomeranke to recommend approval of the DNR Urban Forestry Grant Application and the Authorizing Resolution was approved. The committee members toured the new park shelter. No action was taken. ADJOURNMENT A motion by Susan Brown / Gary Herzberg to adjourn was approved.
