VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE Parks and Recreation Committee March 4, 2015 The March, 2015 Parks and Recreation Committee meeting was called to order by Chris Zellner at 5:45 pm. PRESENT: Chris Zellner, Phil Willems, Gary Herzberg, John Pomeranke, Dave Jost, and Brian Malich. ALSO PRESENT: Sue McDade - Community Services Director, Bill Frederick, Public Works/Streets Superintendent, Rick Moran – Public Works/Parks Forman, Jeff Skoug – Recreation Supervisor. MINUTES A motion by Gary Herzberg/Phi Willems to approve the minutes of the January 7, 2015 Park and Recreation Committee meetings was approved. PUBLIC COMMENT There was no public comment NEW BUSINESS 1. Approve Request for Waunakee Home Run Club Baseball Tournament A motion by Phil Willems/Dave Jost to approve the request from the Waunakee Home Run Club for tournament dates and the waiver of all applicable shelter and field prep fees was approved. 2. Approve Amplified Music Permit for Village Park – August 1, 2015 A motion by Gary Herzberg/Dave Jost to approve the request for the amplified music permit for Village Park on Sunday, August 1, 2015 – Dixie Matt, was approved. 3. Consider Request for Tournament Dates and Fee Waiver for the Waunakee Softball Booster Club – June 27-28. A motion by Dave Jost/Phil Willems to approve the Waunakee Softball Booster Club’s tournament on June 27-28 and the associated shelter fee waiver was approved. 4. Consider 2015 Update to the Park Impact Fee A motion by Dave Jost/John Pomeranke to recommend approval of the 2015 park impact fee as presented by staff was approved. 5. Consider 2015 Parks PAYG Fund Project List A motion by Dave Jost/Gary Herzberg to approve the 2015 Parks PAYG Project List as presented by staff was approved. Park and Recreation Committee – March 4, 2015 – page 2 ADJOURNMENT A motion by Brian Malich/John Pomeranke to adjourn was approved.
