VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PARKS AND RECREATION MEETING 500 West Main Street December 6, 2023 5:30 PM Meeting Minutes The meeting was called to order by Sam Kaufmann at 5:30 p.m. PRESENT: Sam Kaufmann, Robert McPherson, Tricia Braun, Phil Williams, Tim Luttrell, Bob Khouri and John Pomeranke. ALSO PRESENT: Blake Theisen and Katie MacDonald, Parkitecture+Planning, Tiffany Loken, Waunakee Schools. STAFF PRESENT: Sue McDade – Community Services Director, Bill Frederick – Director of Public Works, Ryan Endres – Public Works/Parks Supervisor, Courtney Morehart – Recreation Program Coordinator. MINUTES A motion by Bob Khouri/Phil Willems to approve the minutes of the November 1, 2023, Park and Recreation Committee meeting was approved. BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Centennial Park Playscape Planning – Review and Approve Concept Designs for Playground and Splashpad The team from Parkitecture shared the updated playground and splashpad designs. A report on the community accessibility review session that was held earlier in the evening was also provided. A motion by Phil Willems/Sam Kaufman to approve the concept designs for the Centennial Park Playscape – playground and splashpad was approved.
