VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES A special meeting of the Waunakee Plan Commission was held Monday, July 10, 2012, at the Waunakee Village Hall, 500 W. Main Street, Waunakee, WI. CALL TO ORDER Mr. Laubmeier called the meeting to order at 6:17 p.m. ROLL CALL Members Present: John Laubmeier, Steve Kraus, Gary Herzberg, Pat McGowan, Tom Liebe, Bill Pellino Members Absent: Mark McGuire Also Present: Kevin Even, Tom Wilson, Tracy Meinholz, Bryan Kleinmaier, Brad Robinson, Roberta Baumann, Keith Nelson, Mike Hetzel, Herb Statz, Leonard Allen, Sue & Jerry Schremp, Dave Sarocka, Walter Miller, Mike Lawton, Krista Sommerfeldt, Erick CaPaul, John Schuster, Jerry Tierney, Darrell & Karen Luckasson, Laura Lundgren, Don & Joanne Tierney. NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSSION/ACTION PUBLIC HEARING & DISCUSSION / ACTION ON KILKENNY FARMS REZONE & PRELIMINARY / FINAL PLAT FOR THE KIPPLEY PROPERTY AT CTH Q. Mr. Even stated that this item was noticed as a public hearing although the submittal was found to be incomplete. The item was changed to a consultation. Public hearing opened at 6:17 p.m. Mr. Tierney presented the plan. Neighboring property owner, John Ganser, asked that the grades and road alignment with the Simon Crestway extension be kept as previously proposed. Leonard Allen, Church Pastor, stated that this development would make the church location safer to access. Commission members had concerns with density, cul-de-sacs, unusable parkland, and school impact among other items. Motion Pellino, second McGowan, to hold the public hearing open. Motion carried. No other action taken. PC Meeting Minutes ADJOURN Motion McGuire, second Pellino, to adjourn the meeting at 8:24 p.m. Motion carried.
