VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES A regular meeting of the Waunakee Plan Commission was held Monday, April 22, 2013, at the Waunakee Village Hall, 500 W. Main Street, Waunakee, WI. CALL TO ORDER Mr. Laubmeier called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. ROLL CALL Members Present: John Laubmeier, Steve Kraus, Gary Herzberg, Pat McGowan(7:37), Mark McGuire. Members Absent: Bill Pellino, Tom Liebe. Also Present: Kevin Even, Tracy Meinholz, Bryan Kleinmaier, Mike King, Ed Freer, Roberta Baumann, Kent Straus, Howard & Linda Schwab, Jay Gunderson. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Kraus, second Herzberg, to approve the minutes from the February 25, 2013 meeting. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSSION/ACTION SCHWAB MINI WAREHOUSE SITE PLAN AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, MARSHALL DRIVE Mr. Even stated that the property is zoned I-1 and not C-2 as previously thought and therefor the CUP is not required. The applicant received a variance from the Board of Appeals earlier in the evening subject to site plan approval. The applicant is looking for feedback before moving forward with detailed plans. Some suggestions included: vines, vegetation or color banding to break up long stretch of wall to the East, and better placement of the proposed storage semi. No action necessary. Page 1 of 2 DISCUSSION/PRESENTATION OF SEWER AND WATER UTILITIES LONG RANGE MASTER PLAN Kent Straus of Strand Associates presented the long range plans and discussed capacity issues for future development.
