VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES A regular meeting of the Waunakee Plan Commission was held Monday June 24, 2013, at the Waunakee Village Hall, 500 W. Main Street, Waunakee, WI. CALL TO ORDER Mr. Laubmeier called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL Members Present: John Laubmeier, Steve Kraus, Pat McGowan, Mark McGuire. Members Absent: Gary Herzberg, Bill Pellino, Tom Liebe. Also Present: Kevin Even, Tracy Meinholz, Mike King, Ed Freer, Roberta Baumann, Brian Rahn, Jenny Acker, Harvey Winn. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion McGowan, second Kraus, to approve the minutes from the May 28, 2013 meeting. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSSION/ACTION DISCUSSION / ACTION ON A REQUEST BY ACKER BUILDERS INC. ON SITE PLAN FOR MIXED USE PROJECT AT MAIN & CROSS STREET Jenny Acker presented plans for a mixed use office/residential building. Mr. Even explained that there have been some revisions made as a result of staff comments. Staff is happy with the changes. Ed Freer did ask that the applicant add windows to the west elevation and consider moving the dumpster enclosure further away from the driveway. Motion McGuire, second McGowan, to approve the site plan subject to the following conditions: Page 1 of 2 1) Lighting and signage approval at a later date 2) All technical conditions met to the satisfaction of the Village Engineer & Utility Manager 3) Final design approval by the Village Architectural Consultant and Village Engineer Motion carried 4-0. DISCUSSION / ACTION ON EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION CSM FOR RIHA, TOWN OF VIENNA Mr. Even explained that this is a certified survey map located within the Villages extraterritorial jurisdiction on Cuba Valley Road in the Town of Vienna. The Village usually defers to the Town approvals on these items. Motion Kraus, second McGuire, to recommend approval of the Riha ETJ CSM to the Village Board. Motion carried.
