VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES A regular meeting of the Waunakee Plan Commission was held Monday December 9, 2013, at the Waunakee Village Hall, 500 W. Main Street, Waunakee, WI. CALL TO ORDER Mr. Laubmeier called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Members Present: John Laubmeier, Steve Kraus, Gary Herzberg, Pat McGowan(7:08 p.m.), Tom Liebe (7:03 p.m.), and Bill Pellino. Members Absent: Mark McGuire Also Present: Kevin Even, Tracy Meinholz, Mike King, Roberta Baumann, James Borg, Bob Dorn, Pastor Marsden, Philip Croom, Manuel Mendoza, Dennis Barman, Russ Schlager. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Kraus, second Pellino, to approve the minutes from the October 28, 2013 meeting. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSSION/ACTION DISCUSS & TAKE ACTION ON FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH REZONE FOR 300 W. MAIN STREET Mr. Even presented a deed restriction listing 14 approved uses for the property with a daycare listed as a conditional use. After further discussion the applicant decided to revise the list removing the daycare use altogether and adding more permitted uses. Page 1 of 2 No action taken. DISCUSSION / ACTION ON RESOLUTION AMENDING THE WAUNAKEE URBAN SERVICE AREA FOR POTENTIAL SCHOOL SITE AND CORRECTIONS TO VARIOUS WESTPORT PARCELS Mr. Even explained the purpose of the addition of the school site and mapping corrections for the Town parcels. Motion Liebe, second Herzberg, to approve resolution PCR13-01recommending approval to the Village Board. Motion carried.
