PLAN COMMISSION
MINUTES
A regular meeting of the Waunakee Plan Commission was held Monday December 14, 2015, at
the Waunakee Village Hall, 500 W. Main Street, Waunakee, WI.
CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Kraus called the meeting to order a 6:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Members Present: Steve Kraus, Gary Herzberg, Bill Pellino, Mark McGuire, Brad Zeman.
Members Absent: Chris Zellner, Pat McGowan
Also Present: Kevin Even, Todd Schmidt, Bryan Kleinmaier, Roberta Baumann, Nila Frye,
Andrew Bremer.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion McGuire, second Zeman, to approve the minutes from the November 9, 2015 meeting.
Motion carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None
NEW BUSINESS
Discussion / Action on Comprehensive Plan Proposals
Mr. Even explained the process and steps taken so far. He recommended a subcommittee
comprised of Chris Zellner, Phil Willems, and Pat McGowan.
Motion Herzberg, second McGuire, to recommend to the Village and Town Boards to accept the
MSA proposal for Comprehensive Plan Update. Motion carried.

Discussion / Action Calling for a Public Hearing on TID No 7
Motion Herzberg, second Zeman, to call for a public hearing, with a tentative date of January 11,
2016. Motion carried.
JPC UPDATE
1. Public Hearing & Discussion / Recommendation County A1-Ex Waunakee
Zoning Code Revision / Update
Mr. Kraus opened the public hearing at 6:18 p.m. and with no comments from the
public, the hearing was closed at 6:19 p.m. Motion McGuire, second Pellino, to
recommend that the Village Board approve the A1-Ex zoning code revision. Motion
carried 5-0.
2. Preliminary Consult / Design Review Whitehouse Associates LLC, 5407 County
Hwy M, Town of Westport
No action necessary.
3. Preliminary Consult / Design Review, Madison Country Day School, 5606 River
Road, Town of Westport
No action necessary
4. Discussion / Recommendation on Comprehensive Plan Proposals
This item was already discussed earlier.

Motion McGuire, second Herzberg, to adjourn the meeting at 6:26 p.m. Motion carried.
