VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES A regular meeting of the Waunakee Plan Commission was held Monday May 9, 2016, at the Waunakee Village Hall, 500 W. Main Street, Waunakee, WI. CALL TO ORDER Mr. Zellner called the meeting to order a 6:04 p.m. ROLL CALL Members Present: Chris Zellner, Steve Kraus, Gary Herzberg, Pat McGowan, Brad Zeman. Members Absent: Bill Pellino, Mark McGuire Also Present: Kevin Even, Tracy Meinholz, Bryan Kleinmaier, Roberta Baumann, Ryan Frank, Wes Reynolds, Jason Bollig, Billy Van Wie, Jerry Tierney, Don Tierney, Steve Peotter, Roberta Bauman, Jason Valerius. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Kraus, second Pellino, to approve the minutes from the April 11, 2016 meeting. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None NEW BUSINESS Initial Consultation Garage Conversion to Commercial Space at 300 W. Main Street Commission members were favorable, but cautioned that the use may be restricted to the number of parking stalls. They also encouraged the applicant to contact the neighbors ahead of time. No action necessary. Initial Consultation, Amendment to General Development Plan for Lots 263 & 264 Kilkenny Farms The developer is requesting approval to move the proposed convenience store from Lot 264 to 263. This will require an amendment to the GDP and amending the Comprehensive Plan. Page 1 of 2 Members were agreeable to the switch as long as both buildings are of a higher architectural standard. No action necessary. Discussion / Action on Site Plan and SIP for Waunakee Community Bank, Kilkenny Farms Applicant has been working with staff, and have made the recommended revisions. Motion Kraus, second Zeman, to recommend approval of the site plan and amendment to the SIP for Lot 264 to the Joint Plan Commission conditioned upon all staff comments resolved to the satisfaction of the Village Enginner. Motion carried. WAUNAKEE/WESTPORT JOINT PLAN COMMISSION REPORT/ITEMS FOR ACTION Initial Consult, Jay Williamson CSM & Rezone, STH 113, Town of Westport No action taken. Initial Consult, Kilkenny Farms GDP Amendment for Lot 263/264, Village of Waunakee No action necessary. Discussion/Action on Waunakee Community Bank, Site Plan and SIP Amendment PC recommended approval to the JPC conditioned upon all staff comments resolved to the satisfaction of the Village Engineer. Discussion/Action on Site Plan for Lot Adjacent to Trader Gus Shell No action taken. Comprehensive Plan Update and Draft Plan Review Jason Valerius of MSA gave an overview of the survey results and answered questions from the Commission members.
