Village of Waunakee Police Commission Meeting August 28, 2024 Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Dan Evans at 6:05PM. Meeting was held at the Waunakee Police Department, 205 N. Klein Drive, Waunakee, WI. Roll Call Present: Zak Koga, Dan Evans, Paul Brost, Lauren Lins, and Joel Sarbacker Also present: Chief Adam Kreitzman Public Comment There were no public comments. Approval of Minutes Motion by Zak Koga and second by Paul Brost to approve the minutes of the March 7, 2024 meeting. Motion carried 5-0. New Business At 6:07PM Dan Evans made a motion for the commission to move to closed session under Wis Stats 19.85(1)(c). Second by Zak Koga. Motion carried 5-0. Meeting moved to closed session. Chief Adam Kreitzman provided a synopsis of the Police Officer hiring process. Commission members interviewed candidates for the Police Officer position. Motion by Zak Koga, second by Joel Sarbacker to come out of closed session at 7:14PM. Motion carried 5-0. Motion by Dane Evans and second by Paul Brost to certify the two candidates interviewed. Motion carried 5-0 Motion to Adjourn Motion by, Dan Evans and second by Zak Koga to adjourn. Motion carried 5-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:15PM.
