Police Committee

Village of Waunakee Police Committee Meeting October 15, 2024 Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Joe Zitzelsberger at 6:00PM. Meeting was held at the Waunakee Police Department. Roll Call Present: Joe Zitzelsberger, John Pomeranke, Nila Frye, Sam Kaufmann, Mark Stewart, and Jason Whitney. Also present: Chief Adam Kreitzman Absent: Chris Doering. Public Comment There were no public comments. Approval of Minutes Motion by Nila Frye and second by Sam Kaufmann to approve the minutes of the July 11, 2024 meeting. Motion carried 6-0. New Business Chief Kreitzman provided the committee with an update and answered questions regarding department operations. The Police Committee discussed and reviewed the bids for the Police Department addition/remodel. Motion by Mark Stewart and seconded by Jason Whitney to recommend the Village Board accept the bid from Pepper Construction. Motion carried 6-0. The Police Committee took no action on the Alternate #1 bid for solar panels, leaving that discussion and decision to the Village Board. Motion to Adjourn Motion by, John Pomeranke and second by Nila Frye to adjourn. Motion carried 6-0. Meeting adjourned at 6:36PM.
