VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE A regular meeting of the Public Works Committee was held Tuesday, October 7, 2014, 6:00 p.m., at 500 W, Main Street, Waunakee, WI. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Springman, called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. Present: Sue Springman, Gary Herzberg, Brian Wallace , Paul Endres, Nila Frye. Absent: Chris Zellner, Randy Bolger Also present: Kevin Even, Jim Madden, Bill Frederick, Tracy Meinholz APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Herzberg, second Endres, to approve the May 14, 2014 minutes. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT: None NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSION/ACTION Discussion / Recommendation on Strand Task Order for Ripp Park and Uniek Drive Pond Repairs Motion Herzberg, second Endres, recommend approval of Strand Task Order 14-02 to the Village Board and have Strand attend next meeting to present proposed work. Motion carried. Discussion / Action on Proposed 5 Year Plan for Street Improvements Motion Wallace, second Herzberg, to recommend approval of the 5 Year Plan as presented. Staff directed to research funding sources and how surrounding communities special assess. Motion carried. Initial Discussion on Possible One Hour Parking Restrictions for Main Street No action taken. Discussion of Re-Surfacing Village Hall Parking Lot Motion Herzberg, second Endres, to include the Village Hall parking lot resurfacing in next year’s budget. Motion carried.
