VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE A regular meeting of the Public Works Committee was held Tuesday, March 31, 2015, 6:00 p.m., at 500 W, Main Street, Waunakee, WI. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Springman, called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present: Sue Springman, Gary Herzberg, Chris Zellner, Brian Wallace , Paul Endres, Nila Frye. Absent: Randy Bolger Also present: Kevin Even, Bill Frederick, Jim Madden, Kent Straus, Robert Dietrich, Judy Kopp, Bob & Bonnie Schwab, Don & Steph Laufenberg, Mike Minter, Mary Marmolejo, Frances Pellett, Vern & Marry Pulvermacher, Dave & Dorothy Statz, Dan & Patty Kurtz, Dave Kopp, Brad Statz, Gary Acker, Tom & Lori Hadfield, and Les Hoven. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Herzberg, second Zellner, to approve the November 18, 2014 minutes. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT: None NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSION/ACTION Discussion of 2015 Public Works Improvements Motion Zellner, second Endres, to direct staff to proceed with bidding of the 2015 Public Works Improvement project without sidewalk on the West side of S. Holiday Drive. Motion carried. Discussion / Recommendation on Award of 2015 chip Seal Bid Project Motion Wallace, second Frye, to recommend approval of the low bid from Fahrner for $76,937.86. Motion carried. Update on North Mendota Parkway No action necessary. Public Works Committee Minutes Page 1 of 2 Discussion of Refuse & Recycling Contract Staff directed to proceed with bidding new contract.
