NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSION/ACTION
Discussion/Recommendation on Future Road Projects
Residents of Patrick Avenue expressed concerns regarding the condition of their street.
They stated that there are large chunks of concrete breaking off of the street and deep
ponding in sunken areas. Staff explained that the majority of the budget for 2017 is going
towards the Century Avenue project, but that there is some set aside for some resurfacing
projects. Unfortunately Patrick would be a full re-construct and will need to be a priority
for 2018. In the meantime staff will look into some cost effective temporary repair
options. No formal action taken.
Discussion/Recommendation on 2017 Century Avenue Project
Members had no concerns with the plans as presented. The public informational meeting
with the final plans will be held prior to the January 24 PWC meeting, and the
Committee will make a recommendation to the Village Board for action.

Discussion / Recommendation on Proposed Change to Annual Spring Clean-Up
Program
Staff explained that Pellitteri has requested that the event be changed to start collecting
on Monday and work through the village as time allows, as opposed to having it only be
on the regular collection day. This allows more flexibility for the neighborhoods with
higher volume of items. This will require the Village to get the word out and educate
residents to the change. Pellitteri has indicated that they will do one final sweep at the
end of the week to pick up any missed items. Staff and Committee members had no
concerns. No action necessary.
Update on Shared Parking at St. John’s Church
After discussion regarding whether or not there is an immediate need for additional
parking. Staff directed to evaluate and report back.
ADJOURN
Motion Bolger, second Frye, to adjourn the meeting at 7:03 p.m. Motion carried.
