VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE A regular meeting of the Public Works Committee was held Tuesday, April 4, 2017, 5:30 p.m., at Waunakee Village Hall 500 West Main Street, Waunakee, WI CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Springman, called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Present: Sue Springman, Gary Herzberg, Sam Ballweg, Nila Frye. Absent: Randy Bolger, Brian Wallace, Paul Endres. Also present: Kevin Even, Bill Frederick, Jim Madden, Tracy Meinholz. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Herzberg, second Frye, to approve the January 24, 2017 minutes. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT: None NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSION/ACTION 2017 Century Avenue Reconstruction Project Update Members were given a draft timeline for the project. The plan is expected to be finalized at the first pre-construction meeting of the project scheduled for April 7, 2017. Discuss and Take Action on Additional 2017 Projects Mr. Even stated that there are funds available to include additional chip sealing and one or two mill and overlay projects this construction season. Members were given a list of possible projects to consider that fit within the budget. Motion Herzberg, second Frye, to approve the additional chip sealing and the mill and overlay projects for Nord, Knightsbridge, Kingston and O’Malley streets as presented. Motion carried. ADJOURN Motion Ballweg, second Frye, to adjourn the meeting at 5:41 p.m. Motion carried.
