VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE 500 W. Main Street October 25, 2022, 5:30 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Frye, called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Present: Nila Frye, Sam Kaufmann, Erin Moran, Brian Wallace, Brian Huibregtse, Ron Plumer, Mark Snider. Absent: None Also Present: Bill Frederick, Aaron Jahncke, Ryan Endres, Kent Straus, Cody Esposito. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Kaufmann, second Plumer, to approve the September 20, 2022, minutes. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT: None NEW BUSINESS 1 Discussion/Recommendation on Strand Task Order for Patrick Avenue Bill Frederick presented the 2023 Patrick Avenue project. Staff held a public informational open house prior to the committee meeting and answered questions from residents. Motion Frye, second Moran, to recommend approval of Strand Task Order for 2023 Public Works Improvements to the Village Board as presented. Motion carried 7-0. 2 Construction Projects Update Aaron Jahncke gave an update on the finalization of the 2022 local projects and went over some of the regional DOT projects coming up in 2023 through 2026. No action taken. Chairperson Frye complimented staff on the Verleen construction project.
