Village of Waunakee and Town of Westport Joint Plan Commission A regular meeting of the Waunakee/Westport Joint Plan Commission was held Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at the Town of Westport Community Room, 5387 Mary Lake Road, Town of Westport. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. Members Present: Ken Sipsma, John Van Dinter, Mark McGuire, and Brad Zeman. Members Absent: Dean Grosskopf, and Pat McGowan Also Present: Tom Wilson, Kevin Even, Tracy Meinholz, Roberta Baumann, Elaine & Nick Mischler, Rhonda Arries, Terry Enge, Susan Trudell, Mark Trotter, Austin & Sally Munson, Roy & Sue Carter, Deb Robbins, Allan Levin, Doug & LuAnn Shillinglaw, Ron Williamson, Chris Gilles, Gordon Faust, Mary & Jerin Robertson, Tom Christie, Jim Goronson, Ken Scanlin, Guy Kitchell, Josh Hellenbrand, Mike Ryan. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Van Dinter, second Sipsma, to approve the minutes from the August 12, 2014 meeting. Motion carried. Motion Zeman, second Van Dinter, to approve the minutes from the Special August 25, 2014 meeting. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None NEW BUSINESS & DISCUSSION / ACTION PUBLIC HEARING AND DISCUSSION / ACTION ON A REQUEST BY RON WILLIAMSON OF 6164 CTH I, AND MARK SAVOY OF 6142 CTH I, FOR A CSM AND REZONE TO A-1 AND ER- 1 After a brief introduction of the request, the public hearing was opened at 6:04 pm. After hearing not comments, the public hearing was closed at 6:05 pm. Motion McGuire, second Van Dinter, to recommend approval of the rezone and certified survey map as submitted, subject to conditions and restrictions requested by the Town. Motion carried. INITIAL CONSULTATION, VARIANCE, FRONT YARD SETBACK FOR GARAGE ADDITION, LANGE, 5585 HUNTINGWOOD WAY, TOWN OF WESTPORT Applicant was not present. No action taken. JPC Meeting Minutes 11/15/2017 Page 1 of 2  DISCUSSION / ACTION ON A REQUEST BY ZONING ADMINISTRATOR TO JPC FOR FINDING OF SUFFICIENTLY SIMILAR USE FOR A BREW PUB IN COUNTY B-1 LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT Motion Zeman, second Van Dinter, to find that brewpub is similar in use to a tavern/restaurant in the B-1 zoning district with the addition that it be limited to one barrel brewed at a time. Staff also directed to pursue the possibility of revising the code in the future. Motion carried. RECONSIDERATION / DISCUSSION / RECOMMENDATION ON A REQUEST BY GUY KITCHELL OF HALLOWEEN FX, TO REZONE 5305 CTH M FROM COUNTY C-2 TO VILLAGE C-1, AND SIGN DESIGN REVIEW Motion Sipsma, second McGuire, to reconsider the previous action of the Joint Plan Commission. Motion carried 4-0. Mr. Wilson presented a resolution listing conditions of approval as recommended by the Town Board. Mr. Kitchell stated that he has seen the conditions and has no objections. Motion Sipsma, second Zeman, to recommend approval as recommended by the Town Board in Resolution 14-16 with the additional limit that the dates of operation be only the following nine dates in 2014: 10/3, 10/4, 10/10, 10/11, 10/17, 10/18, 10/24, 10/25 and 10/31. Motion carried with a roll call vote: 4-0 in favor. ADJOURN Motion Van Dinter, second McGuire, to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m. Motion carried.
