VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE BOARD MEETING 500 West Main Street April 7, 2014 - 6:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER The April 7, 2014 Village Board meeting was called to order by President John Laubmeier at 6:01 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Phil Willems, Gary Walden, Chris Zellner, Gary Herzberg, Steve Kraus, John Laubmeier Absent: Sue Springman Also Present: Julee Helt, Todd Schmidt, Dave Ferris, Kevin Even, Nila Frye, Becky Ohan, Alex Day, Roberta Baumann CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. Motion by Steve Kraus, second by Gary Herzberg, to approve the Consent Agenda including all of the items listed below. Motion Passed. For: 6, Against: 0, Absent: 1. 1. Approve March 17, 2014 Village Board Minutes Motion to approve March 17, 2014 Village Board minutes. 2. Approve Routine Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 68833 through 68851 totaling $113,679.80, check numbers 68852 through 68856 totaling $10,676.37, and check numbers ranging from 68921 through 68929 totaling $28,300.98. 3. Approve Non-Routine Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 68930 through 68943 totaling $112,853.74 and ACH check number 1400484 totaling $136,900.78. 4. Approve Disposal of Surplus Property Motion to determine the folding machine to be surplus and dispose of it in the trash. 5. Approve Resolution for Waunakee/Westport UNPS Grant Application and Intergovernmental Agreement between Village of Waunakee and Town of Westport Motion to approve as recommended by staff. 6. Approve Operator License Application for Terrisa E. Mulder Motion to approve operator license application for Terrisa Mulder subject to successful completion of an approved responsible beverage server training course and review by the Waunakee Police Department. 7. Approve Position Description for Police Department Administrative Office Assistant Motion to approve the Police Department Administrative Office Assistant position description. PUBLIC COMMENT There was no comment from the public. LICENSES/PERMITS 1. Discuss and Take Action on Amendment to Class "A"/"Class A" Liquor License for Walgreens Motion by Chris Zellner, second by Steve Kraus, to approve amending the Class "A"/"Class A" liquor license for Walgreens to allow for the additional sale of alcohol.
