VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE BOARD MEETING 500 West Main Street October 16, 2017 - 6:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER The October 16, 2017 Village Board meeting was called to order by President Chris Zellner at 6:03 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Phil Willems, Chris Zellner, Sue Springman, Gary Herzberg, Steve Kraus, Bill Ranum, Sam Ballweg Absent: None Also Present: Roberta Baumann, Todd Schmidt, Kevin Even, Renee Meinholz, Laurie Helt, Carla Rottscheit, Erick Plumb, Sue McDade, Bill Frederick, Kevin Plendl, Cindy Mosiman, Adam Bentley CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. Motion by Gary Herzberg, second by Phil Willems, to approve the Consent Agenda including all of the items listed below. Motion Passed. For: 7, Against: 0. 1. Approve October 2, 2017 Village Board Minutes Motion to approve October 2, 2017 Village Board minutes. 2. Approve Schedule of Bills Motion to approve check numbers ranging from 75486 through 75489 totaling $8,005.54, 75490 through 75516 totaling $53,233.19, and 75519 in the amount of $9,938.63. 3. Approve Administrative Lot Line Adjustment for Yahara Crossing LLC, 5440 Willow Road, Town of Westport Motion to approve the proposed lot line adjustment for Yahara Crossing LLC, 5440 Willow Road, Town of Westport. PUBLIC COMMENT Village Administrator Todd Schmidt and Trustee Willems commented on the State of the Village Report that will be presented to the Village Board in November. LICENSES/PERMITS 1. Discuss and Take Action on Operator License Application for Elizabeth A. Fise Motion by Steve Kraus, second by Phil Willems, to approve an operator license application for Elizabeth A. Fise, subject to successful completion of an approved responsible beverage server training course and review by the Waunakee Police Department. Motion Passed. For: 7, Against: 0. NEW BUSINESS 1. Discuss and Take Action on Catastrophic Sick Leave Donation Policy Motion by Sue Springman, second by Phil Willems, to approve the Catastrophic Sick Leave Donation Policy. Motion Passed. For: 7, Against: 0. 2. Discuss and Take Action to Place on File Proposed 2018 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget Motion by Bill Ranum, second by Gary Herzberg, to direct staff to publish the notice as required by Wisconsin State Statutes indicating the proposed 2018 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget is available for public review.
